Fiddle-dee-dee!!
I received these wonderful animations last night from an online friend and I wanted to show them off permanently! And share them with others. This woman is so creatively talented with graphics, it's amazing. She knows how much I love Scarlett and Gone With the Wind, we've been online friends for several years(and I'd love to meet her in person *hint*). We both like the book and the movie. I have a small collection in our home in one particular room and she has told me that she likes GWTW also. I love these "star"lit tear drops Karma!!! Fantastic!!!
Karma has a fabulous website. Loaded with her finished works. If you have time, take a gander. You'll not be disappointed.
Thanks from the bottom of my heart dear friend. You made my day!!

I see you are an early bird like me...lol!
I loved GWTW both the book and the movie...very nice graphics and I'll be sure to drop by the site you suggested because I love graphics and to see the creative things people do with them.

As for me I'm 34%
You're a very typical movie goer. You like movies, but you are by no means a movie buff.
You've seen many of the biggest blockbusters, but you haven't really started digging in to the classics.
...this is so me...hehe!!
Those dolls are beautiful. I think I am one of the few people in the world who has not seen GWTW the movie all the way through - something always seems to happen - even when I have the tape I end up having to return it before I get to see it all. But I did read the book years ago when they were so upset about the 'd' word being in it. Came to your blog, which is lovely, by way of Rocrebel Granny. I love the way you two coneccted with the poem.
i'm only a 58% movie buff!
I did my thesis in college on Gone With the Wind. I was a Civil War History major, and a Communications major, so I thought I'd combine my thesis and only do one!
Those are pretty graphics.
How did you get them to work in blogger though?
You are so smart!
Gracious ME! She certainly made THOSE for the right person, didn't she??? They ARE purty! I haven't taken the movie quiz... not sure if I should EVEN bother... but I will! I'll let ya know on the board how miserably I do!
Your friend did a lovely job on those GWTW graphics. Such talent...I am not a huge movie buff like you, but I do have my favorites. GWTW and Citizen Kane are of mine. I love old movies, (heh - there I go dating myself once again!), but it seems B/Ws have a sort of "timeless" quality you don't see in today's movies.
Actually I'm more intrigued by the people behind movies. Vivian Leigh was always such an enigma to me. I've read several biographies on her and she was quite the woman. Makes you wonder if the Julia Roberts and Meg Ryans of today will stand the test of time like the Bette Davises, Joan Crawfords, and Vivian Leighs of yesteryear.
Great post today, Wystful! Always love stopping by your blog.
Hugz and all that,
Carol
Whoa, you beat me to the punch, and me growing up in NOrth Hollywood. hehe,
I bow to you oh mighty movie buff!
Hugs

The early bird catches the worm! Thanks for sharing and for visiting my site with your kind comments. Please come back, I am enjoying getting to know you through your blog.
K love both the GWTW movie and book! My daughter is a huge fan and collects GWTW. Great graphics!
:)
Hm.... I dont know why, but I think the blue Scarlett is just wonderful, even though i normally feel much for the green....
I remember my older sister reading the book late in nigth under the blanket with lights.... *lol*
I LOVE Gone With the Wind, both the book and the movie. I've read the book several times over, and own the movie on DVD. I seriously considered the green BBQ dress for my wedding dress, until I found out how much a reproduction would cost me! My mother was relieved, let me tell you.
Love the animations.
