Remember this poem? Did your mother ever tell you this, or someone close to you--
Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child must work for a living,
But the child that's born on the Sabbath day
Is fair and wise and good and gay.
I'm feeling woeful now!! *giggles* Ya know, several times I've had this go through my head (especially when sweet Friday's Child leaves a comment), and I hafta look it up all the time, 'cause I never remember what day of the week on which I was born. Guess, to me, it's not important or I could remember. Do you know right off the top of your head what day of the week you were born? If not, here's the 'calculator'!!
Type in your birthday, month, day and year...it will tell you which day of the week it is.

Thanks for the link to "birth" day of the week...
I always knew I was special... I am a Sabbath (Sunday) child (well 51 years ago) hehehe...
Regards
Tom
Well yes, I was born on a Friday thus my name Friday's Child. Hope I didn't confuse you again of the day.
Wystful1: I was thinking that is the reason you used it. Nope, no confusion here. *Surprised* LOL
I was born on a Thursday. I don't like my part of the poem at all!
i am full of grace! I'd heard the poem, but never remembered it - what days were what.
Very Beautiful & So True! :o)
Well, I gotta get back to work. No more blogging for me! I was born on a Saturday. :)
Booo.....I'm a Saturday's Child and boy do I work hard for a living. (ha!)
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your sweet comments as always..that was a hard list to write. I had a time coming up with 13 things about myself that I liked...I am the Welcome Wagon..Mike calls me that. I just started doing that because well because...someone had too... no one else was doing it. I wanted everyone to feel welcome here...I dont do much but I wanted everyone to know we were friendly here.
I guess I am a Wed. child too..full of woe..That is not me..though..
I've always known what day I was born on -- and thus, I've always known that poem LIES! Cuz I am a Tuesday's Child -- and grace I have NONE. But yes... I've had that poem memorized since I was a wee little one!
Monday's child Mrs Lifecruiser is fair of face, Saturday's child Mr Lifecruiser must work for a living :-)
