I, Wystful 1, live for Monday nights. 7 pm Central Time on Fox Network! TV at it's best. At least for me. (After Prison Break, it's 2 1/2 Men on CBS, that's hilariously adult humor - the boy, Jake, is my favorite, he reminds me of my grandson so much.)
Anyway, the one hour and thirty minutes of TV time on Monday nights is just sooooooooooooo worth not missing!!
Prison Break is the best program to come around in years. I normally don't watch much television. Fox TV is the station I actually want to be on, on Monday evenings and again on Tuesday. HOUSE M.D. (a very ingenious, unorthodox doctor - one you wouldn't want to be beside, but would want him on your side if you have anything wrong with you - LOL). Other than that, I don't watch much television programming other than sports.
If you've never watched Prison Break (it's now in it's 2nd season....last year, it was breaking-out an innocent man from death row. This year, they're on the run.) But rumor has it, and it was explained last season, that the old (true) story of a man, D.B. Cooper stashed a lot of money (now, upped to $5 million dollars in the storyline) somewhere in Utah after parachuting from a plane, and disappearing. Michael Schofield, the brother that planned and ran the break out of prision, knows where the money is.
Again, they're on the run. Eight men broke out that fateful night last season. Last night's episode, one was caught and shot. (One of my favorite characters...well, shoot, they're ALL good characters). "T-Bag" is another good one. Last night he was found in Friend Nebraska....his hand was chopped off, and sewed back on and he's on the run to Utah also.
Oh, you just gotta watch it. (Here are some episodes from season one, and the most recent. All with Chinese subtitling, but in English---turn up the volume!!!). You'll be hooked.
This season, there are a few new characters, FBI agent Mahone played by Bill Fitchner and there is a file character so far, Oscar Shales...he's a mystery yet, but I'm sure he's more than likely the FBI's list somehow. Time will tell.
Hang on tho!!! It's a ride you won't get off of easily. It's very intense, bumpy, and exciting. You find yourself cheering for the ex-inmates instead of the crooked prison officials and government officials!!!!
"We're goin' to Utah!!!"

Wystful1,
I should have known you would be PB follower! It's my favorite show too! I love how the plot is so intricate and how quickly characters come and go. I was abit upset that they killed off Veronica in the season opener......:<(( and now Abruzzi last night..
The storyline with T-Bag getting his hand sewn back on by a vet - how funny was that???
It's such a great show...thanks for your comment on my 9/11 tribute and the flamingos.
Now on to Utah!!
Have a great day!

Yes my hubby and I watch PB also. I had to miss last night because my daughter called (long distance) you know. I hated to miss it. We are not completely hooked but try to watch it. Now what we are hooked on completely is 24!! We have watched it for years now. I think we are going on 6 years. It is also on FOX and will begin again in January. Most of our family watches it. I do like PB though. I like House too when I get a chance to watch it...
I like the Prison Break series and also House. That Doc cracks me up.
I had started watching Prison Break & then somewhere when they started tunneling out in that shed or whatever that was; something must have come up because I don't remember anything after that. Has too much happened to get caught up?
I rented Season 1 & 2 of Lost over the past 7 days & so I'm ready for Season 3 there.
Completely agree...Monday nights are the only nights I watch TV and Prison Break has me caught!! The writing is brilliant, the plot thickens each week and lets face it....Michael (aka Wentworth Miller) is the best eye candy to hit the small screen in years!!
See, I never got into PB. But Monday night is now the big TV night. My TiVo might explode. :)
I do enjoy 2 and a half men. I, of course, live to watch Charlie Sheen :)
I'm hooked on Prison Break, too. Wentworth Miller is such a hottie!
