FRIDAY'S FEAST

What are some lyrics you have misheard (such as, instead of "Gettin' Jiggy With It" you heard "Kick a chicken with it")?
I don't think I have misheard anything. If I have, I don't recall any. But I DO know of a web site that has many songs alphabetically listed that has lyrics in the correct form and others who have added the misheard lyrics! GO HERE

What is the worst movie you have ever seen?
Hands down, it would definitely be "The Verdict" starring Paul Newman(1982). I actually got up about midway through it and left. The use of the "F" word was so overwhelming --nearly every other word!!--that I just couldn't take it any longer. It was disheartening and so blatantly insipid, I was actually disgusted. LOL (And funny thing is--years later when it was aired on television and CENSORED, it wasn't a bad story at all!)

Using the letters from your favorite number, write a sentence. Example: Tomorrow has really easy experiences.
Wow, my favorite number is five. Seems that five is in my life MANY times! (I come from a family of 5 kids to mention just one example) So, the sentence would be: Felix is very emotional.

What was the most interesting news story you have heard this week?
Hmmmmmmmmmm, since I'm from the area of the JonBenet murder from way back, the breaking news of John Karr confessing (and now wrongly accused because of DNA tests) was interesting. But I think I knew all along he didn't do it! There is still something very 'fishy' and strange about this case. I can't put my fingers on it. But I certainly can take a guesstimation of who actually did it!

Which word(s) would you choose to describe your wardrobe?
Oh my! The words I could use are a very long list probably. The first word that comes to my mind is CASUAL. I am NOT a kind that likes to dress up. In fact the last time I really dressed up was 1969...on my wedding day!! Another word would be eclectic. I don't have many complete outfits. I make my own as I dress for the day....not matching. LOL COLORFUL is another. Tho I do wear a lot of black...the other colors are bright. Rarely can you find anything dull in color.

Let me be your first to comment today on this fine...NO hurricane day!! YES!!
I too cannot abide that F word. Why did they ever think that it has to be used at all!! It just simply ruins a movie for me and I will shut it off and never watch it if they just keep using it and using it. Crazy!!
My list is almost up too. Some of the questions were a little harder this week. Today is Hubby's birthday and he actually has the day off..FAINT!!!
Wonderful feast...love your dessert! *s*
I, too, have my suspicions on who killed JonBonet but I won't write it here.
Have a great weekend!
Nice feast! It's interesting that almost every feaster prefers to be casual, myself included!
I can deal with some profanity, but it's used as punctuation nowadays and that's a shame.
I lived out in Colorado when JonBenet was killed and remember it well. I never figured that Karr guy for the killer. We may never know for certain -- kinda like the whole OJ thing.
What a delicious feast. I liked your dessert. :)
I'm up.
I would have walked out on The Verdict too! I hate that! I listen to some of the movies that my hubby and kids watch sometimes and I just want to go in the other room and put my foot through the television! WHY do they think the "f" word has to be used so frequently? Drives me NUTS!
And the JonBenet case...ugh. I've always thought it was one of the parents... but when they SAID he knew things that ONLY the murderer could know - oh I was SO eager to jump on that!!! I was really disappointed when the DNA came back. I really WANTED it to be him! Cuz I really hate the alternative.
I feel ya on the use of the *f* word...it's sad too becasueit seems like it has become a requirement...I'm also amazed at how many women I hear saying it...
Great Feast!
Great feast but love most your salad, main course and dessert.
Thanks for passing by.
I love the site you mentioned in your appetizer!
I agree with you on the "F" word. One thing that I disliked about Bridget Jones was that word being used constantly. Really there is no need for that.
I thought Karr was a bit "odd" so I wasn't convienced he was guilty but then why did he say he did it?
Love your sentence!
I did my first Friday's Feast today.
Great feast! Loved your dessert. I too found the topic of your main course interesting.
Nice feast...actually, now that I think of it, I probably should have put the JonBenet case down as mine as well.
Great feast - love your dessert
great feast (as always). I think we all like to be casual... that definitely seems to be the trend!
Had a wonderful feast! Thank you!
Have a lovely weekend!
That's me, casual for dessert. The only other clothes I have are too dressed up and not practical anymore.
Great Feast...
My wardrobe is very casual and colorful as well :)
As for JonBenet... I really wish they would hurry up and figure out who did this.
I also think that crazy guy deserves to go to jail for being a liar. I mean atleast to a mental hospital... he has to be a few bricks shy of a load to confess to a murder he didn't
commit.
The crazy guy has other charges pending - probably not going anyplace for a while.
That word doesn't exactly cross my eyes but it's used as a noun, a verb, an adjective ad nauseam. It's lost what little attention getting value it ever had and it's boring.
