A couple of blog visitors left comments in my Halloween 'tree' and asked me to show the witch on the inside...
Well, I actually was hoping it did show up, but with the flash going off all the time and reflecting off the orange material, I guess no one can see her. So, I had to get out my trusty 'idiot book' on the how-to's of operating the camera. LOL --a lot of you who've known me over the years know I'm not too swift when it comes to making a camera work. One friend of mine, known online as G G --even pointed out one time the reason my camera wasn't working is 'cause I didn't have it turned on....so that goes to show you what a ditzy photographer I am. Or maybe blond...well, probably both. LOL
Well, once I figured it out, reading "this button and that button and 'push here now' " - how to take a picture without flash, here are the results. When the light is on inside the tree you have an eerie orange glow, and the witch in front of the moon shows. And...........her-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-e's witchy!
And by the way Melli - the 'tree' in the window at the store doesn't have the 'special effect' of lighting. So mine is more 'halloweenish'. rofl
A good friend of mine (known in blogland as LibertyBelle)- she and I have been 'witches in arms' for years. And come October she'll be getting lots o' things in her emails from "Wystfully Witch"!! Be scared, be very very a-scared!! *cackles*

That is very cool. I may have to try that as a halloween project for my boys...
ooooh, how very crafty of you. I saw a bunch of halloween stuff in the mall this weekend on my shopping extravaganza, but didn't want to spend the money on it. Can you make them for me? ;)

AWESOME Witchy! I LOVE the effect when there's no flashes involved! It is REALLY gorgeous! WOW!
So you love this time of the year. I will have to send you a picture that we took of me in Walmart the other day playing around with masks. I almost scared my 6 year old grandson to death...I loved that mask. I almost wish I could buy it and dress up but I would scare the little ones to death...
