This is part of "Old Pueblo" a distinct, familiar title to Tucson Arizona residents. I fell in love with this area of town. It's actually part of the Presidio of Tucson. There is a great section of town, in the old district, that has buildings dating back 150 years or more. And most of them have been converted to artisan or curio shops. Here, you'll find such unique works - all for sale. Now that I'm here in Texas, I miss going there to browse and spend a great afternoon. And this door, among many others, is something I really liked and snapped a photo of it---why? I really don't know, just the old adobe west you come to see in your imagination of the days of yore in the wild wild west!!

And, I added this later--....by what car you drive, you can see what bumper sticker you should have (a little fun for today)---
If you don't like my driving - stay off the sidewalk

No reason needed for that one... It's a cool door!
About mine- It is the bar entrance at a restraunt....
Wow what a great door. Love the ambiance and charm. As always great composition too. My sentimental door is up.
That is a wonderful shot, the colors and the composition are stunning!
For some reason, the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw this picture was the movie "Under the Tuscan Sun." If you haven't seen it, the main character renovated an old building in Italy and well, this reminds me of that beautiful old building.
I know, I don't make sense. It's early. lol
Enjoy the weekend and thanks for stopping by!
oooh I like that door!!!
Thanks for visiting!
Love it, especially the view of another through one!
LOVE this door - the colors are so beautiful!
That's a great picture! When I see something "old" like that, I always wonder who's been there before and what's happened there.
Very cool.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my pictures today. =)
Very nice! My first thought is that it was the entranceway to your home until I read the story. I'm just starting my rounds now. It will be interesting to see how many of the posts are personal doors versus 'seen' doors. Thanks for dropping by to see mine, as always.
P.S. Noticed your new look right away, too! Very Kool!
Wow! Cool pic!
Thanks for stopping by mine :)
What a beautiful picture, I love the roof tiles.

Oh, this is a wonderful door indeed. I link old buildings like that. I wish we could find a way to move to Tucson...It is getting to busy and way too hot in the Phoenix Metro area...Well, we see what will happen...
Thanks for stopping by this morning :)
I really love that doorway! :)
I can definitely see why you liked this door. Right off the bat, I would be drawn to it as well.

That's a great door, it has real character! I wish my front door wasn't so plain!
Now I've heard alot about doors like that. They have them in Greece where it opens to a garden, and you have to spend so much time there before it's polite to go to the houses door.
Lovely picture!
Mine is finally up, I finally rolled out of bed! I had to go see the "Lake House" last night. It was a really good movie!
You and yours have a wonderful Saturday together! {{{Hugs}}
Love that section of Tucson! And I remember that door!
That is an awesome door!! It say "come on in!"

Great pic of a beautiful door. The painting that hangs in my living room is of a courtyard scene with a blue door. Really like painted doors.
The bumper sticker was fun too. Enjoy your weekend.

Great color! Happy weekend.
Great door! I love it. :) I played too.
Pretty door. My bumper sticker as it says should be......"Even if the voices aren't real - they've got some great ideas."
Thanks for visiting.
Wow, great door. I'd miss that neighbourhood too if I had to leave it behind.
My photo has been up a while but I'm only able to do my visiting and commenting now.
I was hoping to put up a rustic door picture and just could not find one. I LOVE this one! Such stories with it I am sure!
My door picture is up! :)
